3⁄4HP MORTICER
One of our all-time most popular tools the F14-651 offers quite a bit more than you'd expect from a bench top morticer. A 3⁄4hp direct drive induction motor powers the morticer, accepting a range of chisels up to 5⁄8” (16mm). A timber height of 8” (200mm) can be placed under the chisel, with a mortising throat of 200mm. A robust cast iron construction provides fantastic stability, combined with two precision ground and hardened steel columns, on which the headstock smoothly glides.
To further enhance stability and control, we have added a hydraulic gas strut, enabling smooth, judder-free mortising through a headstock travel of up to 9” (230mm). A unique 180° rotating base facilitates custom off-bench mortising projects, and an adjustable depth stop guarantees consistent results in production runs.
