Jet 701 Benchtop Morticer
This solid, well made morticing machine is designed for heavy duty use and in situations where bench top mounting is more convenient. It is has a powerful motor, cast iron construction and a dovetail guided head with rack and pinion raising and lowering system driven by a handle which can be fitted on either side of the machine. Other features are the two adjustable roller guides, guide fence with rack and pinion positioning, double-locked hold-down, a very solid head travel stop and a most useful device for correctly setting the chisel to bit clearance. Supplied with the morticer are a 13mm drill chuck, long chuck key, mounting collars for 5/8", 3/4" and 13/16" chisels, tool tray and a diamond chisel sharpening cone.
